Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • The Assistant Project Manager provides crucial support to the Project Manager in overseeing the entire lifecycle of Minor Food’s outlet projects. This role involves active involvement in project planning, design, and execution, as well as coordination with cross-functional teams. The Assistant Project Manager contributes to the successful completion of projects within established budgets and timelines.

Main Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Design Support:

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams in developing planning and design documents for outlet projects.
  • Assist in conducting feasibility assessments, concept development, and design management.
  • Contribute to the development of detailed project proposals, including scope, timeframe, and budget.

Project Planning and Design Support:

  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of projects, including client relations, budgeting, and defining scopes of work.
  • Assist in managing the landlord approval process and ensuring compliance with brand standard requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Brand team to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Budgeting and Cost Management Support:

  • Assist in preparing and managing project budgets, conducting periodic cost and productivity analyses.
  • Contribute to the development of integrated project plans, implementation schedules, and cost estimates for major initiatives.

Supplier Coordination:

  • Assist in coordinating with suppliers and providing support in directing their activities to meet project requirements.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination with suppliers under the guidance of the Project Manager.

Construction Support:

  • Support the Project Manager in managing, coordinating, and facilitating site construction activities.
  • Assist in scheduling, logistical arrangements, and cost tracking for construction projects.

Communication and Reporting Assistance:

  • Collaborate in regular communication with executive management and administration regarding project status.
  • Assist in obtaining executive guidance and approval for project initiatives as needed.

Job profile, skills, and expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • At least 3 years working experience in project management.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Computer literacy (AutoCAD, MS Office).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong skills in driving for results and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Digital and technology savvy. Keen in learning new things.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong skills in people management and development.
  • Self-motivated, punctual and reliable.
  • Attention to details.
