- We are seeking an experienced and motivated Office Architectural Manager to oversee the daily operations of our architectural office. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth progress of our projects, maintaining high standards of work, and fostering effective communication between our team of architects, engineers, drafters, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in architectural management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design processes, construction methods, and industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in architectural software and project management tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Drive the progress of architectural projects by coordinating team activities, setting priorities, and monitoring project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all staff work to a high standard by providing guidance, conducting regular reviews, and maintaining quality control throughout all phases of project delivery.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and drafters, offering technical assistance and resolving any project or team-related issues.
Office Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day operations within the architectural office, managing workflow, optimising resource allocation, and ensuring a productive work environment.
Problem Solving:
Identify potential challenges in projects or workflow and take a proactive approach to address and resolve issues efficiently.
Collaboration:
Act as a key point of contact between clients, internal teams, and external consultants to ensure project requirements are met and communication is clear.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensure all architectural projects comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company protocols.
Continuous Improvement:
Implement strategies for improving office processes and project management techniques to enhance productivity and quality of output.
Reporting:
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress, team performance, and any issues requiring attention.
