- PT Lotte Shopping Indonesia (LOTTE Grosir) and PT Lotte Mart Indonesia (LOTTE Mart) are looking for a Local Buyer Fresh Food has a strong retail merchandising background within Fresh Food (Fruit, Vegetable, Meat&Poultry, Fish), achieve the best results for the company’s business and the category.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess the commercial performance of the current Fresh Food range, market trends and opportunities.
- Current price points, margins performance, competitior price positioning and retailer margins versus market.
- Negotiation of supplier trading terms to meet financial targets.
- Source of product supply.
- Conduct research on suppliers as appropriate to the product categories.
- Measure, Monitor and Evaluate supplier performance with regard to service and quality, conducting regular supplier reviews where required.
- Manage tender process where applicable.
- Maintain all documentation and administration relating to this procurement.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree with Minimum of 3 years experience in a trading and buying environment within the Fresh Food Product.
- Excellent Negotiation and Persuasive Selling Skills; a proven track record of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with vendors is a plus.
- Knowledge of purchasing and forecasting systems.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work with speed and accuracy.
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal), and excellent relationship building skills.
- Willing to work in Pekanbaru.
