- Requirements
- Minimal having bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering. GPA minimum 3.0 of 4.0.
- Having relevant work experience in geotechnical mining industry as least 3 years.
- Able to operate engineering and geotechnical software (Slide 2D, RS2D, RS3D, Autocad, Minescape, etc).
- Able to operating the Instrument Monitoring Geotech (SSR, Robotic, Extenso, Prism, VWP, Inclino, Crackgauge).
- Analytical, problem solving skills together with mechanical aptitude to solve technical difficulties (troubleshooting, geomechanic laboratory test).
- Experienced leading a team.
- Understanding basic KPLH, operational employee competency, saftey driving, & leadership.
- Familiar with regulatory standards KEPMEN 1827 / SNI.
- Responsibilities
- Ensure that clear geotechnical information is provided to mine planners and operations personnel so that field operations are designed and constructed following the recommended geotechnical design
- Provide technical assistance and information to contractors and/or the public regarding issues such as well drilling, code requirements, hydrology, and geology
- Conduct all geotechnical assessment (design of optimum slopes to maximize pit economics); Responsible to geotechnical testing supervisory to keep quality of data/result for use analysis
- Ensure that all geotechnical team activities (especially field activities, accuracy of geotechnical risk ratings and overseeing appropriate mitigation plans) comply the safety standard, environmental and operating guidelines.
- Identify some geotechnical & hydrology hazard in pit area and establish good communication with all departments
- Design and conduct scientific geotechnical & hydrogeological investigations (Risk Assessment) to ensure that accurate and appropriate information is available for use in management decisions
