- Job Brief
- As the Head of social media, you will lead our social media team in developing and executing strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive business results across various social media platforms. Your role will involve overseeing content creation, community management, client communication, performance analysis, and staying updated on social media trends and best practices. You will play a key role in shaping our client’s social media presence and fostering meaningful connections with their audience.
- Responsibilities
Strategy Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the organizations or client’s goals and target audience.
Content Planning and Creation:
Oversee the creation of compelling and relevant content for social media platforms, including text, image, video, and interactive formats.
Community Engagement:
Foster and maintain relationships with internal and external social media audiences, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Campaign Management:
Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote products, services, events, and brand initiatives, leveraging both organic and paid strategies.
Platform Management:
Stay updated on the latest features and trends on major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok), and optimize clients and our presence accordingly.
Performance Analysis:
Monitor and analyze key metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media efforts, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of social media specialists, guiding strategy, content development, and community management.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including performance marketing, content, design, and customer service, to ensure alignment and integration of social media efforts with overall business objectives.
Client Communication and Oversight:
Act as the primary person in charge of the social media department and clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding objectives, progress, and results. Provide regular updates and reports to clients, offering insights and recommendations for optimizing social media performance. Additionally, oversee the overall execution of client social media platforms, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Influencer Partnerships:
Identify and cultivate relationships with relevant influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify our social media reach and engagement.
Crisis Management:
Develop and implement protocols for handling social media crises and negative feedback, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables, ensuring they meet client’s expectations and organizational standards.
Issue Resolution:
Address project issues and conflicts as they arise, working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to find solutions and keep projects on track.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
Reporting:
Reporting to Senior, Supervisor +1, and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in social & media management, with a proven track record of driving engagement and growth across various platforms.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable social media strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
- Proficient in data analysis tools.
- Candidates must be based in Bali or within a comparable location.
- Experienced in an agency will be highly preferable.
Working Hours:
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Day off on weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
- Religious Holiday
