Job Description
- Account Payable
- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources.
- Support the implementation of accounts payable processes and internal controls to ensure governance over the Accounts Payable function.
- Check daily F&B and other invoices interfaced from Cost Control to ensure accuracy of prices, quantities and adequately attached with relevant documents such as Purchase Orders etc.
- Schedule and make accurate and timely payment to creditors according to approved policies & procedures. Prepare creditors aging and reconcile payments against invoices/bank records/aging.
- Maintain database containing vendors’ details (payment terms, bank account details, etc.) for payment processing reference. Update payment terms and other agreements with external vendors.
- Respond to basic queries and information requests from internal stakeholders on creditors’ outstanding balances, payment status, payment terms, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years or above experience of Account Payable in F&B Retail Industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software especially ESB would be preferable and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- English is a must.
