- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Compare the actual cost of development project to estimates.
- Supervise staff in carrying out plans, programs, and services.
- Ensure project management systems are maintained up-to-date and accurate.
- Perform design, development, and/or analysis to support assigned projects.
- Assist the Construction Manager to input the WBS (Work Breakdown Schedule) and cost control, project reporting and document control by directing project controllers
- Assist the Construction Manager to coordinates any critical issues among the Contractor’s internal organization, client, third parties, and subcontractors so as not to affect the overall project schedule and report to Project Control from time to time
- Review, evaluate, verify and recommend approval of progress invoice and change / variation order claim, if any from Subcontractor before submitting to Project Control
- Prepare and update the project schedule and monitor the progress based on the construction activities on daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Prepare the monthly progress report for billing to client on the monthly basis
- Prepare the monthly progress report for billing to client on the monthly basis
- Assist the Construction Manager to collect all the project reports from site on daily basis to be compiled as evidence for progress billing and variation order formation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering Mechanical or a related field
- Over 5 year-experience in engineering field / Site Engineer / Project Engineer
- Experience of engaging in large-scale construction projects, over 10mil. USD preferable.
- Sufficient knowledge on mechanical equipment, piping material/ accessories
- Sufficient knowledge on regulatory authority and permit
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- The ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices
- Basic skills of Microsoft Office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Have knowledge in Design & Drawing
