Responsibilities:
Delicatessen:
- Maintain profitability of the category by maintaining the balance of cost of material and selling price
- Providing client with customer focused insight regarding the product and category
- Creating and developing a short-term plan and strategy for the development of the category
- Driving category relationship with the large supplier
- Becoming a leader in category ranging, pricing and promotions across customer channels
- Leading category management projects to optimize ranges and related merchandising
- Working alongside customers and teams to translate customer insights into strategies that drive performance
- Managing a large portfolio of different supplier brands and developing appropriate strategies for each of them.
- Developing strong working relationships with buying, marketing, and merchandising teams is essential
- Product development based on business trends and customer requirements
Bakery:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies for bakery products across all stores.
- Develop for new bakery product
- Monitor and manage bakery product displays to ensure optimal presentation.
- Collaborate with the other departments to align merchandising plans with product availability and promotions.
- Analyze sales data to evaluate performance and adjust merchandising techniques for maximum profitability.
- Train and supervise store staff on bakery merchandising standards.
- Ensure all merchandising activities comply with company standards and safety regulations.
Meat:
- Develop new product base on market trends and customer request
- Evaluate assortment base on sales and store production plan every 3 months and propose new assortment to meat merchandiser
- Oversee the merchandising operations for the meat department.
- Develop and implement product strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure optimal product selection and pricing.
- Monitor market trends and adjust merchandising plans accordingly.
- Manage inventory levels, Display product attractively, pricing, and promotional strategies to drive sales.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Lead and train a team of staff store to maintain a deep understanding of various cuts of meat, their uses and quality standard of company.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area
Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree from Culinary, Baking and Pastry, or similar
- Proven experience min. 3 years in merchandising, bakery, delicatessen, food retail, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of meat and poultry products, market trends, and industry standards.
- Strong knowledge about basic bakery production.
- Strong knowledge of premium foods and gourmet products.
- Having culinary or food safety certification is plus.
- Ability to operate cutting equipment.
- Have good sense and strong initiative for new product development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Leadership experience and the ability to mentor and guide a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, inventory management and data analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team environment and shifting.
- Ability to work hard and learn new skills.
- A passion for food and customer satisfaction.
- Fluent in English.
