- Manufacturing Manager
- What Will You Do
- The Manufacturing Manager will oversee and integrate the functions of production, engineering, and quality assurance to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and product quality. This role will lead cross-functional teams to develop processes, improve manufacturing operations, and maintain the highest quality standards in product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
- Plan, organize, and oversee production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor production performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
Engineering Management:
- Lead engineering projects focused on product development and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and equipment to enhance production capabilities.
Quality Management:
- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Address quality issues by leading root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Liaise with procurement, supply chain, and other departments to support production goals.
- Work with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor production, engineering, and quality staff.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork across departments.
- What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in production management, engineering, and quality assurance, preferably in the automotive industry. Experience with two-wheeled vehicles is more preferable, and experience in automotive spare parts is also welcome.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and quality control methodologies.
- Proficiency in using production and quality management software tools.
- Ability to use Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in making presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and external counterpart partners.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and challenges.
