Job Description
Role Responsibility:
- To take responsibility for sourcing and procurement of various bulk materials, including chemicals and consumables based on the actual requirement, manage vendors and maintain optimum inventory of required specifications to support efficient operations of process plants and associated utilities.
- To assist in procurement of assigned capex items for operations and projects within allocated budget.
- This role is also expected to assist in the procurement of allocated CAPEX items for regular operations and new projects. This includes assisting in issuing erection and commissioning contracts to ensure timely completion of allocated project within allocated budget.
- Requirement
- Degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering/Diploma in Materials Management or Supply Chain Management
- 10 – 12 years in Procurement in process plants
- Experience on managing/leading the team
