Job Description

  • Applus+ Indonesia is looking for a Head of Department for Southeast Asia to start up our new Executive Search Division, focusing on originating new business as well as developing and nurturing existing key relationships, you will build your business contacts with organizations ranging from SMEs to large corporates. A combination of direct recruiting, business development and account management skills are required for this position.
  • Scope
  • Manage a team of Business Managers and Recruiters across SEA.
  • P&L management, regional recruitment operations and performance tracking.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and service delivery through genuine client relationships.
  • Create and maintain an organic sales approach of solution selling and problem solving that is client focused.
  • Sourcing and developing new contacts within new and existing businesses.
  • Consulting and offering solutions to clients regarding the acquisition of talent.
  • Source candidates through business contacts, direct recruiting, existing database, and internet advertising
  • Structuring your day to achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly individual sales targets and metrics.
  • Collaborating with the rest of the office to promote cross-sell opportunities .
  • Ideally you will already be in the recruitment industry and have a tenured background focused on executive search recruitment. Alternatively, you will be a sales professional who is commercially focused with an interest in recruitment and business development.
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience working in several/multiple countries in Asia within the same job scope.
  • Experience mentoring and developing a team; ideally within recruitment or workforce solutions, however not essential.
  • Results driven with a focus on achieving business growth targets and a proven track record locally and preferably regionally in delivering revenue targets .
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to roll initiatives out to the team and your clients.
  • Motivated, self-starting, and enthusiastic.
  • Open and clear communication.
  • Solutions-driven with the ability to troubleshoot and manage conflict and challenges.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities; and
  • Positive, consultative and a team player.
