Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Accurately read and understand MEP drawings, schematic drawings, system drawings, and operational drawings.
- Assist in checking work drawings to ensure they meet project specifications and standards.
- Conduct field checks to monitor the progress and quality of MEP installations.
- Propose alternative solutions and methods to address any issues or challenges encountered during the project.
- Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow and project integration.
- Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of MEP installations and ensure compliance with project timelines and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, issues, and solutions proposed or implemented.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to report progress and any issues encountered.
Required qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in related fields
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a MEP Supervisor
- Proficiency in CAD Software
- Expertise in 3D SketchUP and modeling
- Strong ability to create detailed schematic drawings
- Familiarity with additional drafting and modeling software is a plus
- High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in drawings and models
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with other project members
- Understanding of construction and architectural industry standards and practices
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project architects
- Strong problem-solving skills to address design and drafting challenges
