Job Description
- As a Learning & Development Specialist you are responsible for identifying the current and future skills requirements of an organization, and creates flexible learning interventions (through digital and other means) to meet the diverse needs of the workforce of all levels.
You will be primarily working in our factory in Cikarang with a little travel within Greater Jakarta area. You will be reporting directly to Human Resources Manager. Your main responsibilities for the job are:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify knowledge and skills gaps within the organization, collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather input and insights regarding training needs.
- Develop engaging and effective learning materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, virtual sessions, and multimedia presentations.
- Utilize instructional design methodologies to ensure training content is structured, interactive, and caters to diverse learning styles.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops, either in-person or virtually, ensuring an engaging and impactful learning experience for participants
- Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess the impact and effectiveness of training programs
- Partner with subject matter experts to gather and verify training content, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Oversee the organization’s learning management system, ensuring proper functionality, accessibility, and user support
- Manage course catalog, enrollments, and reporting within the LMS
Requirements & Qualifications needed for this position are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training facilitation
- Familiarity with various learning methodologies, eLearning authoring tools, and multimedia production
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in English and Bahasa
- Proficient in using learning management systems and other related software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness
