Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Head of PPC (Production Planning & Control) Department to lead our production planning team in the Dyeing & Finishing division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production planning, scheduling, and control, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and on time while optimizing resources.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules for the Dyeing & Finishing department to meet customer demands, production goals, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate between the production, quality, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
- Analyze production capacity and resource availability to optimize scheduling and ensure maximum production efficiency.
- Monitor and control the entire production process, from raw material allocation to finished goods, ensuring quality standards are maintained at each stage.
- Identify bottlenecks, delays, and inefficiencies in the production process, and work with the relevant departments to find solutions.
- Oversee inventory control and ensure raw material availability for uninterrupted production flow.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure production aligns with customer requirements and order deadlines.
- Use data-driven analysis to forecast production needs, set realistic targets, and adjust plans based on market trends or unexpected challenges.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (required).
- 5+ years of experience in Production Planning & Control in the textile industry, particularly in Dyeing & Finishing.
- Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and capacity planning.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to mentor and motivate staff.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on operational efficiency.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
- Previous experience in textile manufacturing with a focus on Dyeing & Finishing processes.
