Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for pharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from RFQs to purchase orders.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve the best value for the company.
- Work closely with the logistics team to manage shipping schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels, avoiding stockouts or overstock situations.
- Research and identify sales opportunities, developing new project leads and soliciting new accounts.
- Keep accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management. Knowledge of shipping logistics is a plus.
- Must be a registered pharmacist with a valid license and hold a degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or equivalent).
- Proficient in English language is a must
- Strong skill in business communication to build relationships with potential suppliers and other industry professionals
- Able to negotiate financial and logistical details with suppliers
