Job Summary:

  • The Finance, Accounting, and Tax Manager will oversee the financial operations, accounting practices, and tax compliance of the organization. This role involves strategic planning, financial reporting, and ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts.
  • Monitor financial details to ensure legal requirements are met.
  • Analyze market trends to maximize profits and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Assist management in making informed financial decisions.

Accounting:

  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial records.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate the accounting team, assessing their performance.
  • Develop and implement best practices for accounting processes.

Tax Compliance:

  • Oversee the preparation of federal, state, local, and international tax returns.
  • Develop tax strategies to optimize tax obligations and ensure compliance with tax laws.
  • Conduct research on tax laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes.
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits and liaise with internal and external auditors.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare detailed reports on the company’s financial status for senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff and assist in their professional development.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.

Experience:

Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and tax compliance. Minimum experience 4 years in same field.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
  • Maintain tax balances on the general ledger.
  • Handle all information data requests and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and compliance of the organization, ensuring that all financial operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.
