Job Description
- MidPlaza Holding is looking for a skilled Drafter MEP to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. Your expertise will be essential in translating engineering concepts into comprehensive designs that adhere to industry standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of MEP systems.
Responsibilities:
- Translating concepts and sketches created by the MEP engineer into CAD.
- Creating superimposed drawings and distributing them to the internal team, consultants, and contractors.
- Conducting periodic checks on MEP installations in a project to ensure they align with the design drawings.
- Reviewing contractors’ shop drawings to verify compliance with the design drawings.
- Collecting as-built drawings for each project that has completed the testing and commissioning phase.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in the same field; prior experience in consulting or contracting is preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong foundational knowledge of MEP equipment related to installation, operations, and maintenance requirements
- Responsible, loyal to the company, and possesses a strong curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Detail-oriented in performing tasks
- Able to prioritize and organize work effectively to avoid overlap
