We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing Fruits Executive to join our team and ensure the procurement of high-quality fruits that align with our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing & Procurement
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of fruits, ensuring quality and sustainability standards are met.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms for the company.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Market Research & Analysis
- Monitor market trends and pricing for various fruits to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Analyze supplier performance and market dynamics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Quality Assurance
- Conduct regular quality checks on incoming fruit shipments to ensure they meet company standards.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues related to product quality or supplier performance.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure a steady supply of fruits while minimizing waste.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demand.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales and marketing, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Provide regular updates on sourcing activities and market conditions to management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting supplier relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of fruits and familiarity with quality standards and best practices in sourcing.
- Experience in sustainable sourcing practices.
- Experience in fruits especially for sourcing/purchase.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software or tools.
- Willing to roaming across Central Java to find best possible vendors.
- Have a motorcycle / car.
