Job Description
- Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineer, manufacturing, operations management, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Tasks & responsibilities
- Production planning & inventory control
- Control production schedules and ensuring on-time delivery
- Analyze production data to optimize resource allocation, production flow, and capacity planning
- Ensure the production process is cost-effective and that products are manufactured on time and within budget
- Work with the QA/QC team to investigate and address any quality issues that arise during production
- Maintain production records and prepare reports on production performance, productivity, and quality
- Work on continuous improvement initiatives, reducing waste, and optimizing resource utilization
- Lead, manage, and develop the production team, including supervisors, staff, operators, and other personnel
