Job Description

  • About Earthworm
  • With most of our staff operating directly on the ground where the issues are, we work with our members and partners to make value chains an engine of prosperity for communities and ecosystems.
  • We see a world where forests are a boundless source of materials and a home for biodiversity; communities see their rights respected and have opportunities to develop; workers are seen as productive partners, and agriculture becomes the instrument to feed a hungry planet and keep our climate stable.
  • About the Landscape Programme
  • Protecting fragile ecosystems means finding a way to create value for people without sacrificing nature. This is too complex a challenge for any company, commodity supply chain, NGO, or government to handle alone. To secure a future for natural resources and those who rely on them, collective action and collaboration are critical – we must go beyond the bounds of individual supply chains.
  • This is why we work in high-value landscapes across the globe to support local and international stakeholders in constructing pathways for regenerating lives and nature, building supply chain and farmer resilience, and achieving the goals of responsible sourcing.

  • Executing the social & engagement activities in the ToC/log frame/work plan within the operation /working area.
  • Provide technical backstopping support to the Social and Engagement Manager and the team in delivering social and engagement aspects within the landscape ToC, including communicating the update, success, stories, and lessons learned to other relevant teams (ex. • Your Profile
  • You are genuinely motivated about leveraging agricultural supply chains to improve environmental and social outcomes and interested in a career with a dynamic non-profit that builds relationships with companies, governments and civil society organizations.

You have a deep understanding of social issues and conflict resolution, familiar with social program strategies and work plan within the landscape.
